Camp Experience
Camp is run by the PURDUE Swim Coaches with a theme of improvement of skills, and an emphasis on being positive. We also pride ourselves in the selection of our camp instructors. Our instructors will include current swimmers, staff members, and some high school coaches.
Playing Facilities
Camp will take place at the BOILERMAKER Aquatic Center. For details on where you’ll be swimming, visit the BOILERMAKER Aquatic Center.

Roommates
If you would like to request a roommate for camp, please indicate that name on the application. Please note that two campers will be assigned to each room. We will try our best to accommodate each request made to us prior to the start of camp check-in. If a roommate is not requested, we will make every effort to assign a roommate of approximately the same age/grade. No changes can be made on registration day.
Camp Food
Campers will be eating in Ford Dining Court. There are featured hot meals, deli sandwiches, salad, fruit, plenty of juices and other drinks, and even desserts! For more information click here.
What To Wear/Bring
- Swimsuit, cap, goggles
- T-shirt, shorts, and athletic shoes for dryland workouts
- Clothes, underwear, socks
- Pajamas
- Alarm clock
- Bed linens ARE provided for resident campers.
- Toiletries – toothbrush, soap, shampoo, sunscreen, etc.
- Bath towels, washcloth
- Fan (rooms are NOT air conditioned)
- Lock (may leave on locker during daytime, but NOT overnight)
- Shopping, snack, pizza money
- Kickboard, pull buoy and fins
Payment Other Than Credit Card
For other forms of payment, a check may be paid to the order of and sent to Black and Gold Swim Camp, LLC (at the address below).
Refund Policy
If you must cancel your registration, a 90% refund will be granted if a request is received in writing or electronically 21 days prior to the start of camp. A 70% refund will be granted if the request is received in writing or electronically within 21 days up until the start of camp.
Refunds will not be granted to those who do not cancel prior to the start of camp. Black and Gold Swim Camp is not responsible for costs incurred due to cancellation.
