Time At Purdue

Purdue is on Eastern Time.

Athletic Trainer

If you need to be taped to prevent injury, you must provide the tape and a member of our athletic training staff will apply the product. We will have an athletic trainer on site.

Travel

In making your travel plans, please keep in mind that Purdue University is on Eastern Time and does observe Daylight Savings Time.

If you fly into Indianapolis International Airport, you may wish to shuttle to West Lafayette on the Lafayette Limo service. The Shuttles depart for the airport every two hours between 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Call (765) 497-3828 for reservations and more info.

If you drive to West Lafayette, please refer to www.purdue.edu/vic or www.purdue.edu/physicalfacilities/construction_notices.html for travel alerts. These will help you determine the best routes to campus.

Food Allergies

If your camper has a food allergy, please list all food allergies under medical conditions and also E-mail our camp office at [email protected].

Special Needs

Purdue is committed to making all programs accessible to participants with disabilities. If you require auxiliary aids or services because of a disability and you have not yet informed us of your needs, please contact us at 765-494-6252 at least one week before the program begins.

Discounts

We offer a 10% sibling discount. Please contact our office before registering online for instructions on how to sign up. No discounts will be applied after a registrant has signed up online.

Refunds

You can cancel up to 14 days before the start of the camp. A cancellation fee of $50 will be processes if you cancel at any time. No refunds will be issued 10 days before camp.

Camp Store

If you are attending the Elite Camp, General Skills Camp, or Team Camp – We will have a camp store available featuring various items.

Commuter Information:

Pick–Up and Drop–Off – Commuter

Campers can be dropped off between 8:30am – 9:00am at Holloway Gymnasium. For drop off and pick up we suggest parking in the Ross-Ade Stadium Parking lot.

Residential Information:

Residence Hall

Roommate request must be made at the time of registration. We will do our best to accommodate all roommate request but cannot guarantee. Residence Hall rules will be established on the first day of camp. All campers are expected to comply with the rules, regulations and policies of the hall. All rooms are double rooms. No more than two will be assigned to a room. Sheets, blankets, pillow, a towel and wash cloth will be provided to each camper. Normal camp attire is expected in the dining room. Shoes must be worn. Pajamas, robes, slippers, and bathing suits are not suitable attire.

For the security of personal belongings, always keep your room door locked. Please do not bring valuable items or large sums of money. Purdue University and Purdue Volleyball Camps will not accept responsibility for theft or loss of money, valuables or personal belongings. Lost and found items may be claimed my contacting the residence hall within two weeks after the close of camp.

A $35 charge will be assessed for anyone that does not return their key at the end of camp. CHECK OUT TIME FOR ELITE CAMP IS NO LATER THAN 5:30P.M. ON THE LAST DAY OF CAMP. Parents please arrange with your child ahead of time where and when you will pick them up. Campers who drive to campus MAY NOT use their vehicles during their stay.
